LRE Water has served as the City’s water resources engineering firm since 1991. LRE Water provides on-call services for a variety of projects including water rights and water resources planning and management, water rights litigation support, regulatory and environmental permitting support, and ground water development and water well design. Initially, LRE Water assessed the physical and legal availability of water to the City under its existing water rights, and projected water demands for the anticipated growth of the City. Since then, LRE Water’s services for the City have included assistance with acquisition and change of use of new water rights, development of augmentation plans and exchanges, drilling of water wells, and water supply planning, projection, and management.
