Eagle River Hydrology and Water Supply Systems Model

To meet the water supply planning needs of multiple stakeholders in the Eagle River basin LRE Water developed a surface water allocation model of the Eagle River Watershed using the State of Colorado’s surface water model, StateMod. The model incorporates basin hydrology, supplies, demands, and operations to understand and quantify the physically and legally available water throughout the basin. The model also incorporates future scenarios and projected consumptive and non-consumptive demands and alternate hydrology’s to understand future infrastructure needs and evaluate risk.
