Chatfield Storage Reallocation Project

LRE Water was part of the Program Management team that directed the delivery of this 5-year, $150M mitigation effort to support the reallocation of 20,600 AF of storage space in Chatfield Reservoir for municipal and agricultural uses. LRE Water’s responsibilities included procurement of all designers and contractors, document management and cost/schedule control, permitting support, and water rights accounting. Mitigation efforts included the relocation or redevelopment of recreation facilities and roads, as well as environmental mitigation along Plum Creek and other tributaries to the reservoir.
