LRE developed a design and bid documents for a 1,500 foot, 15 cfs pressurized pipeline to convey raw water from an alluvial well field and fill two below grade reservoirs located in Weld County, Colorado. The project design also includes a 22 cfs gravity discharge to supply augmentation water from reservoirs to the South Platte River and pumping capabilities to transfer water between the two reservoirs. LRE developed piping and valve requirements for the project as well as pipeline alignments for the project. All valves and controls will be contained within a below grade vault. In addition to design, LRE prepared applications U.S. Army Corps 404 and Weld County Floodplain Development Permits. Final project design was completed in November 2014.
