Mike is a Licensed Professional Geologist and began his hydrogeology career in 1999. His experience includes: groundwater resource evaluations and long-term sustainability assessments; hydrogeologic assessments for water supply projects; evaluation of complex groundwater flow systems; aquifer pumping and single well aquifer tests; quantitative data analysis to determine aquifer parameters; high-capacity well and well field design, installation, and optimization; GIS data development, implementation, and spatial modeling; wellhead protection plans; aquifer vulnerability assessments; GPS data acquisition; groundwater modeling; fracture trace analysis; geophysical exploration; interaction with State agencies; and, project management. Mike serves as a lead hydrogeologist and project manager on groundwater resources projects in Minnesota and the Upper Midwest for public, private, and industrial clients. Mike enjoys spending time with family and friends, home improvement projects, woodworking, concerts, and summer vacations in Northern Minnesota.
