Whether it was the 2-minute showers that her Marine father tried to hold she and her sisters to, or growing up in the arid southwest, Mary has long had an appreciation for efficient use of water. And while her professional career in the field of water resource engineering has lasted for more than 20 years, her understanding of the need to effectively manage such a precious resource has been a lifetime focus.
As a Senior Project Manager, Mary’s work is focused on assisting clients in planning and development of their long-range water supply needs. Her expertise includes management of water resource development projects, litigation support and expert witness testimony in Water Court for water right matters, water right valuation studies and water market analyses, long-range water supply and demand planning, and analysis and recommendation of new raw water supplies.
Mary is a registered Professional Engineering in Colorado and Texas and holds professional certifications as a Project Management Professional and Certified Expert Witness. She holds as BS in Civil Engineering with a minor in Geomorphology from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA and a MS in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from University of Texas in Austin.
Away from work Mary keeps busy as a family taxi driver for her 2 boys, running, weight lifting, gardening, playing guitar, and reading.
