LRE has capabilities in both hydrologic and water quality modeling. Our hydrologic experience includes both analytical and numeric modeling of flow regimes within a watershed, as well as basin-wide scale assessment of water resources, climatic variability, and groundwater/surface water interaction. Our water quality and related data management services primarily focus on addressing various regulatory requirements and completing scientific studies and development of permitting, planning, and resource management strategies. This work includes developing a better understanding of the relationship between aquatic invertebrate populations and biological stressors, including nonpoint and point source loading, sedimentation, habitat alteration, metals contributions, and urban runoff.
