LRE Water serves as the Dominion’s water resources engineering firm, assisting with the evaluation and acquisitions of surface and nontributary ground water supplies. LRE Water supports Dominion in a variety of projects including new water right applications in Water Court, quantifying reusable return flows for use to increase raw water supplies, and raw water system modeling to define the dependable yield, infrastructure needs and timing. LRE Water is working with Dominion to develop Colorado's first rainwater capture system for a "new development" as a legal renewable water supply, which doesn’t require augmentation.
