Heidi’s water engineering career began in 1991 with the Colorado Division of Water Resources. She started as an engineer-in-training and worked her way up in the organization to Professional Engineer II and became the Team Leader of a group that evaluated well permits, county subdivision referrals, reviewed Army Corps. of Engineers 404 permits, substitute water supply plans, and plans for augmentation in coordination with staff and water users in Water Division 2, 3, and 7. She became proficient in and also trained DWR staff to use the State CU computer program developed by LRE. Heidi joined LRE in February of 2015 as a Senior Project Manager and looks forward to assisting clients in their long-range water supply planning including water rights analysis, historical consumptive use analysis, development of augmentation plans, and litigation support including expert testimony. Heidi enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, fishing, and gardening. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in conjunction with Syracuse University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado.
